Major International Recognition for the Irish Film & Television Industry with Eight Emmy Award Nominations
   
 

The Irish film industry has received much international acclaim this week with a total of eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations given to ten members of the Irish film industry.

This news followed on the back of the announcement that the Irish film ONDINE directed by Neil Jordan was selected to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival, along with CRACKS produced by Element Pictures and filmed on location in Ireland last year.
